8v Double-Layer Tensegrity Dome: Octahedral Vertex

This is a close-up view from the inside of the dome of one of the three octahedral vertices. The vertices are distinguished by the fact that two tripods come closer together about them than tripods normally do in the structure. In addition, two of the inner convergence triangles at the feet of these tripods are approximately right triangles as opposed to the usual case of the inner convergence triangles being approximately equilateral.
