8v Double-Layer Tensegrity Dome: Base View

This is a base view of the dome. The twelve struts which touch the ground touch it at twelve points equally spaced about a circle. The guy wire attachment points are similarly arrayed on a larger circle. Three attachment points are omitted to form doorways, so there are nine attachment points altogether. Although it is difficult to see, a "door" is located front and center here.
