Once the vegetation had died back, I felt free to retie the tendons to correct the tilt. I didn't bother recalculating things and just retied tendons until it looked right.
Nylon's memory properties and elasticity make it somewhat difficult to design with. When it is unloaded it still retains a permanent stretch and remains longer than its original unloaded length. A large temporary stress during assembly can warp things enough that the final structure doesn't exactly conform to its computed configuration under the final stresses.
